My Music
I compose and produce what I'd call "progressive electronic music", if not able to use the term IDM. My most prominent influences come from 90s - 2000s IDM artists such as Aphex Twin, U-Ziq, Autechre, Squarepusher, etc.
My music is an amalgamation of contemplative melodies, playful compositions, and time signatures that usually aren't 4/4. I make sounds/synths first and structure the melodies based on that, and either use my own samples, or sounds I find elsewhere as percussion; if there is any.
My inspiration with odd time signatures mostly comes from progressive and alternative rock/metal artists such as Tool, Opeth and Rush.
You'll find I usually don't have a set structure in my music, I like to continually evolve the track opposed to making it loop around. Having fun and feeling challenged while composing a track is very important to me, and usually leads to a better finished product.

My Art
I've made art as far as I can remember, literally. I really started trying to improve around 2024, when I switched from Autodesk Sketchbook to Krita. I've gone through many different styles and after my recent endeavor into an acrylic, real-to-life digital painting style. I have settled back into embracing the freedom of digital brushes.
I would describe my visual style as semi-realism. Giving characters more anime-like proportions while maintaining texture and lighting grounded in reality. Surrealism and mystery fascinate me and I like giving my works a sense of intrigue, whimsy, wonder and/or unease.
Though I am a digital artist, I usually use no more than 3 painting layers at a time, excluding a filter layer and signature layer. I believe controlled limitations are a good thing and they require me to put more thought into my work.
Other than my usual illustrations, I make all the art in the covers for my music, which usually; but not always, utilize photo-mashing. Which I find really fun, it's a break from all the painting and feels very freeing. Though, sometimes stressful to do right after enduring the musical process.
I have also made several animations, utilizing 2d and 3d forms of art, often mixing them.
